I can’t say that it’s easy, navigating through this life.
There have been countless times where I wanted to give up, where I feel like there’s not much hope left.
I realized over time that my life wasn’t really what I had hoped it to be.
Although I did have a slimmer of hope.
My spirituality has kept me in check.
Believing in something makes my heart feel full
Because when everyone else and everything fails you,
You know that you “still” have “something”.
And no matter how small that “something” is, it’s what I trust above all else. Above family, friends, even myself. Because they can let you down.
But you can’t.
I trust in something beyond myself.
What makes up the universe, tiny particles in the cosmos that intertwine
in their little dance
Forming big stars and galaxies and black holes
And that so happened to create the earth
I believe in the galactic universe having a sort of identity
Where all that it makes up is essentially what it is at its core
When I peer into the galactic cosmos
I see everything that I am and everything I could be and everything that I will be.
